Gabriels Christening

Attended my Nephews Christening this afternoon and had very weird experience with the priest who celebrated the baptism. There are about 8 candidates for baptism and just like any other baptismal rites. God parents were required to attend a seminar. I just didn't expect that the seminar was before the rite itself. I was made to believe that the seminar was at 9 Am and the baptismal rite at 11 AM. This was not my first God child but this was my first personal appearance. Used to have a lot of super proxys before. But since this is my sisters kid. Personal appearance is really needed and this is also a good opportunity to once again bond with the family. So there we were listening to the monotonic lecture of the person-in-charge. After maybe 30 mins of the dull seminar where all that I remember were the phrases, "God the Father, God the son and God the Holy Spirit."

We waited for the priest longer than the seminar and the rite itself and as soon as the priest spoke. All were silent. He spoke in a manner in which you would assume that he's drunk. I thought it was a prank at first. Really! He was speaking gibbrish at 120 words per minute as if being chased by a rabid dog. He couldn't even keep his eyes on what he's reading. He totally blew off the sacredness of the rite.
At the end of the celebration I can say that everything paid off. We welcomed Gabriel Louie Coronel Olegario to the Christian world. Though everybody was obviously tired though and both of the lolos are drunk i can fairly say that it was a success. For the Mom and Dad of this baby boy Job well done and may the grace of God strengthen your newly founded family. Keep in mind that we're always here for you! For you Gabriel, in time you may not have felt the joy of this event the important thing is that you grow up healthy and fast so that we could hook you up with girls. ehehehehe

Old Photographs

I recently acquired some old prescanned family photos. This one's From my father side. . From top left to right. Inang, Momsy, Amang, Tito Dhe, Father Dan, I'm guessing that's their youngest Tito Jun, Tito Ely and Last but definitely not the least, my father.

Pretty sure I could still find a lot of this things lying around the house. I just cant find the time to scan them all. We Used to keep photo albums in the house but found it hard to maintain. Especially now every thing's digital. But I'm sure back when this picture was taken, it's a whole different ball game.
Now here's a head shot of my Grandfather. Celso Coronel Sr. Never really knew him. Died a couple of years before I was born. I only knew him through my dad's stories. By them I knew that he's a good man. A good father to them and a beloved husband to my Lola.

This was actually the same picture I saw hanging from my tito's wall ( Tito Jun, youngest) when we visited their home onetime. Believe me, that was my very first memory that i ever saw my lolo's face from a picture. I was staring at it the whole time wondering what it would have been like to know and grow up with him.

Growing up, I always admired how my titos and tita from my father side bonded. A special occasion is never needed for us to get together. Man, they're tight! How they looked over each other and always got each others backs even after all these years. Must have been how they were raised by my Lolo and Lola. Kinda inspiring huh?

Going back. imagine how easily a person could be forgotten with just stories. But these photos really helped.

Goin' gaga over 711's Bonggang Bonggang Bingo.

Never thought that I'll get hooked up with something like this. Though Bingo was actually our Family's favorite past time and besides it gives me a million reason to. Game one was over just like that and 4 words to describe that one. "Almost but not quite." Now game two is almost done and I'm still missing some digits. Its just like Game one all over again. . .
Ever since the promo began I made sure that not a day passes by without me trippin' out to 711. Most of the time for some missed out grocery items but mainly for a quick bite. Keeps my wallet full of 711 receipts. I just cant get enough of the feeling that one day I might get lucky. Typical for most of us Filipinos huh. Hey you may never know that's why its called a game of chance. Just keeps the excitement going.

Update:

The Bonggang Bonggang Bingo promo of 711 ended yesterday and after almost two months of collecting receipts I didn't win the 1 Million Grand prize. Not by a long shot but it was fun though. What I got was a horizontal pattern that wins me a 100 peso GC from 711. Hehehe Not bad huh? Till the next one.

Globe Promos and Concerns

I was watching Unang Hirit this morning, was busy with what I was doing then I heard about a news regading Senator Juan Ponce Enrile complaining about how his CellPhone Provider Debited ten Pesos from his Cellphone credit. According to the News, Sen. Enrile has reloaded 600 Pesos and for no reason at all his prepaid credits was debited just like that.
I'm a Solid Globe Telecoms Subscriber. I myself take advantage of the call and text promos and I have no complain about it. I usually load a 100 Peso call call card and with their promos that 100 Pesos could take me upto a week to consume through their promos, when regularly the load credit is valid for 15 days. So doing the math, If I register 15 Pesos a day, you expect that you're all set for 6 days plus you still have 10 Pesos to spare right? This is assuming that you only text your globe contacts. Which luckily for me is the case. One day, I noticed that in between my 6 day period my account balance suddenly became uneven. Not much of a difference though. a matter of 2 Pesos or three. At first I just neglected the issue cause its not a big deal. But it 's happenning on a regular basis now. Realizing that I may be just one, but imagine if all the subscribers are deducted a peso a day. Imagine How much it's gonna be. And believe me these telecoms provider bank on numbers with regards to subscribers.

What I did was I called Customer Service. Inquired about the real deal and they said that they'd check on it. After a brief conversation with the Supervisor Idecided to let the DTI know of such deficiency in the part of the Telecoms.

I checked my email but I could no longer share a copy of my complain letter but the bottomline is, I got a reply from the DTI people cc_ing me a copy of what my concern is that is forwarded to a manager at Globe. And Viola within 24 Hours I got a call from globe. I got a charge back and a lot of apology. They even thanked me for letting them know of that concern.

Good thing about Globe is that if an unauthorized debit was made in your account they can charge it back to you after an investigation. Not unlike it's competition. So I guess we all have no choice but to stick to what we have right?

Oh and one more thing that I noticed, Their promos expire first before you receive the notification message about the expiration. So busy people watch out! A peso a day maybe negligible amount but in a month that converts to 30 Pesos. Lets make these promos work for us not the other way around.
Now they have this promo EveryBodyTxt20. Get 200 txts to Globe/TM + 20 txts to other networks. The good thing about this is you can carry over your unused free text the following day just register again before promo expires.

Update: (06/06/09)

I've been using this promo for almost two weeks now. At first I thought this was the best deal ever by Globe but after a few days I realized the downside. Yeah you're able to accrue you unused prepaid credits on the condition that you register again before your Etxt expires. That's another 20 Pesos. With this you're forced to regularly and diligently reload earlier than the previous day. That's 20 Pesos a day just to keep accruing your credits. And Once you forget or overlook the time of registration. Say goodbye to your every accumulated free text.

This may work for people who text a lot. Just like my sister. I recommended this to her cause she still uses Unlitxt. She said 200 free text daily is not enough for her. Hmmm.

So my advice, make every peso count. Know what works for you. There are other Text promos by Globe other than this. Cause in the process you might thought you you're saving some but the truth is you're just spending more.

Hayden Kho Jr.- Man of the Hour

Photo Taken from Google Image Bank

Dr. Hayden Kho Jr., Will be facing the Senate today. Another Inquiry that will lead to what? Hopefully to a bill that will fight and punish those who abuse women using the internet. (cyber pornography) But most probably will lead to another fiasco in the Senate.

The talk of the town for two weeks running, the scandalous video files of Dr Kho Jr. and his bed partners. This isn't new! In fact I saw one case in Inbestigador , where a sex video was used to blackmail a wife by her indecent lover so as to continue their affair. Imbestigador together with the NBI successfully entrapped the said blackmailer who happens to be a teacher. I guess those involved were not high profile enough for this story to reach the ears of the senate. But this one does.

Personally, what goes on inside a room of another man and woman is none of my business. But Recording it and broadcasting it over the net makes it everybody's business. I myself has seen some of the said videos and I'd like to commend "The Man" for a very impressive display of Mojo! Macho trippin! You rock Sir!

I just don't know why our senators are very curious about the issue. Why not just settle all this in court? Why waste an entire day of tax payers money probing whether or not Hayden Kho and his partners are under the influence of illegal drugs while fornicating? Or if his partners are even aware of such recordings? I mean what difference will it make right? Since the damage has been done. Will this inquiry determine mitigating or aggravating circumstances.

The last I heard Senator Bong Revilla Jr. already moved that Dr. Khos Medical Licence be revoked and the PMA and PRC are also having their own investigation.

The truth is, there are thousands of Dr. Hayden Kho Jr. out there who violate women's rights everyday. Exploiting them in every possible way. Prostitution, Human Trafficking, Pornography, Abuse. Name it. These are just a few and yet we tend to focus on the obvious and on what is already given. But then again thanks to him lessons are learned but at the expense of his partners.

CSI Junkie

I just finished season 6 of CSI Miami and just like the last episode of CSI Nevada where Warrick Brown was shot by the under sheriff, that episode just left me hanging. H was shot on the Tarmac of Miami International.
At first Horatio Caine was my least favorite CSI supervisor among Mac Taylor and Gil Grissom. It's not hard to guess who's my favorite. The reason? Well aside from being bossy he's always in a hurry with his phone calls and he poses a lot. He'd even pass for a male model. But during the course of the entire collection I realized that H's character was more human than the other two. He suffered great loses in his life that built his character. He lost a brother, a wife, a CSI, and he even suffered a very painful childhood.

Another thing that I come to like about Horatio Caine's Character was his emotional connection to children and women especially the victims. He sympathises with them and assures them every time that he will bring the criminal to justice. Most of the episodes you can even see him on the victims funeral. Unlike Gil who's always emotionally detached even to his CSI's. Grissoms life has always been a mystery while Mac Taylor has always been in between the two.

I became very interested with the series cause of the methodology the characters portray in solving crimes and most of them murder. Though I have yet to obsess with the show itself I think twists in the plots are most likely the key to the shows survival. Like murdering one CSI.

When Ryan Wolfe was temporarily relieved of his duties pending administrative investigation. I was really hoping that he'd turn his back on his team and be a bad guy for once. Possessing the know-how of forensics he could easily manipulate evidence. Though in reality its really a fine line that separates a good intention from a good motive.

Update:

I Just finished season 9 of CSI Las Vegas and to my surprise after the team solved Warricks Murder, Grissom decided to leave and finally retire. So now Catherine is the new night shift supervisor, Joining them is Morpheus. (Laurence Fishburne) who was a College Professor with a Medical Degree. It was Grissom who invited Morpheus to join his team before he left. He was so funny during his first night in the field, Still confused of course of his tools and the procedure. Esp when he was dusting for print on a door knob.

While in CSI Miami Found out that Lt. Caine didn't die on the tarmac but was working with the Feds and Mr. Wolfe to cover up his own assasination so that he could go undercover. I just thought that it was a dumb thing to do, not letting his entire team know of his plans. Especially the tenured one like Eric and Caleigh. They figured it out eventually.

Sorry to ruin the story for you guys, I just have this feeling that everybody knows already except me. Hehehe

It's Here!

The dreaded virus Influenza A (N1H1) has already breached our land yet it seems like its no big deal to most Filipinos. yeah we watch it on the news but I don't believe we are grasping the weight of the situation. I highly doubt that a third world country like the Philippines stand chance once such a pandemic spread.

No matter how fortunate we are because we survived the SARS and Avian Flu period whether through effective preventive measures by our government or through sheer dumb luck. Here's another one. Lucky for us means and ways of prevention was already been laid out by the Canada, Mexico and United States. Three of the first countries that was initially affected by the Swine Flu.

How prepared are we really? Does the government have a contingency plan ready once an outbreak is already inevitable? If there is I'm pretty sure that majority Filipinos including me are still clueless of what that plan is. It wouldn't hurt to keep the public informed without causing panic.I know that such plans are cascaded on the last minute but how effectively can the government disseminate such information when every one's busy preparing for the election next year.

I guess at the end of the day it's really is up to us. Awareness coupled with the right information is our number one defense if we want to survive this global health crisis. Let's just hope all these go away without leaving so much damage. But until that day, Life must go on right?

24 Hour Delivery

It's a good thing that McDonalds has already provided their consumers and regular patrons with another way to place their orders. I just had a Big Mac meal and i ordered through their website, http://www.mcdelivery.com.ph/. It's all good. All you need is internet access. Drag your orders and then Viola! They'll take care of the rest and besides some branches are open 24 hours a day.

I just remembered last Sunday when we were all craving for McDonalds around 2 in the morning and we tried ordering online and for some reason we can't. So we called them delivery number 8MCDO. The CSR was great in obtaining both info and orders but I got very disappointed when she said they can't deliver 'cause their branch in Kabihasnan was Lagged. I said I thought you deliver 24 Hours. I hang up due to frustration. I then realized that being open 24 hours doesn't always guarantee a delivery.

They provide service that most Food chains don't and at 2AM when you crave for good food you remember Sharon Cunetas Commercial. You want results right? I guess i just felt bad about this whole deal because they say one thing on TV and you get another on the phone. The Representative who took my order sounded that they cant. Bad thing right? Hey, It's Just me.

Some Yahoo Messanger Concerns

Can you give a reliable online tool to communicate/chat with family and friends? If you are to ask me I'll probably answer the Yahoo Messenger. I practically grew up with that tool. Very reliable, you can store your friends' contact information and you can chat with them once they log in. Voice conference, Chat with cam, Etc. You can also receive offline messages from you contacts through your mobile phone. Pretty cool feature huh? Even though a lot of social networking sites already offer the same service, the Yahoo Messenger has still proven its worth. And Right now they have integrated it with your yahoo e-mail.

Recently, I noticed that some family members and a few of my friends started sending offline messages that I receive through my mobile. Some of them looked like advertisements and testimonials of commercial products that I haven't heard of. Like slimming capsules, etc. Some written on a different language. Indian maybe. At first I just ignore them thinking it's just a glitch or some isolated event but as I still keep receiving such messages from my various contacts it started to annoy me. That's when I started investigating. Everytime I receive messages that I thought was suspicious I tried contacting the sender through their mobile and they seem to be unaware of sending such messages. The Question now is, Is yahoo still reliable? If someone has already cracked your messengers password it means your entire yahoo account is compromised. Right?

Well I'm not a techy person but it would really ease my mind if someone could help me out with this concern. Im literate enough when it comes to sending and reading emails but beyond that I'm totally clueless. I'm just curious if this is happening to anyone but me but one thing im sure of. This should not be happening.

So for the mean time I have no choice but to regularly change my password. Better safe than sorry right? However will changing passwords regularly be enough once you accout has already been compromised?

A Day to Remember

I've been always wondering what it's like to be a tito. Ever since the day that my sister broke the news about her being pregnant and all till last Saturday when I finally saw my Nephew, Gabriel Louie. He was Beautiful. So little yet so Beautiful. When I felt his hand it was like Kianna all over again. I was overwhelmed with the feeling of being needed.

The other day, the day when i finally decided to show up at home to finally see Gabo. I was Surprised to see my daughter Kianna Gabrielle. She was invited by my mom since Gabo and her mom, my sister will be leaving the following day to go to her in-laws at Pasay. The Moment I saw the both of them I guess my heart just skipped a beat. Two in One you could say. The sad thing though was that Kiannas initial reaction upon seeing me was not that good. She cried. I dont blame her. It's all my fault. I was never around for her, I was never there. Not there during her firsts. Not the kind of dad that i dream t of being when I was a growing up. So I went back to Gabo whose half awake and a little bit groggy. I think he's about to doze of when all the guests started arriving. He was so cute. I couldn't help myself from picking him up. I just needed to touch him. I guess all the excitement boiled down to that moment.

Kianna and my youngest sister, Marga went out to play in the park so i grabbed the opportunity and followed them there. I didn't know what my sister told her but she gave me a kiss and a tight hug. The one that I wanted to give her ever since. And just like that the tension between us eased. We got to talk and she started calling me papa again. We played and talked the entire night and when the go signal was given that she'll be spending the night over I just didn't want the night to end.

I had a lot of things to tell her I just didn't know where to start. Or maybe i just didn't feel that it was the right time and that she'll understand although I know that she's a smart kid. Smarter than the kids of her age. By the way she'll be turning five this November. Though we didn't sleep together seeing her sleep was more than enough for me. All those years, I finally realized what I was missing. My baby girl. I just didn't expect that all will be this complicated between the two of us.

The following morning our adventure together continued. I just can't get enough of her calling me Papa, Pa. It's like music to my ears. I prepared her food and we ate lunch together. I promised her that we could play at the park once the sun is no longer a threat and so we did. She kept asking me questions which I eagerly answered. Being continuous with every word I tell her cause at the back of my mind those will stick with her for a long time. It just felt so good compared to watching her grow on her moms friendster account.

We were left alone around six Cause my mom had to accompany Gabo and Mitch to Pasay and Marga went to Church. I prepared her dinner, we watched TV while waiting for her Lola jean to pick her up. And when we both heard her lola calling from the outside I knew I needed to say good bye. Good Bye for now. But promised myself that I'll be ready for her the next time. I just hope she'll remember the thing we did together when she's on the other side and that she'll still say papa even if I'm not with her just like how she perpetually call her mama when we're together.

711 inconveniently convenient

Imagine this. You're on your way to a very well planned and a much deserved overnight swimming with your friends then you realized you forgot to bring your sun block. You could bum some with your friends but you remembered the last time you went out with the same crowd they too intentionally forgot to bring one because they know you so well that you will have one ready. Hmmm the resort was only 30 minutes away when you see a very convenient sign. Ahhh Such a life saver.
One of the businesses that minutely felt the global recession according to some reviews. 711 has been around for quite some time now. According to their history, the first 711 store was situated at the corner of Kamias Rd and Edsa in Quezon City back in 1982. Almost 28 years later theres a 711 convenience store in every corner. Operating 24 hours a day and 7days a week thats including holidays. Wow.

This type of convenience don't come cheap though! Believe me it doesn't. Cause you could really feel the price difference between 711 and the general merchandise store. Go ask your mommies.

I remember the first time i got my digital camera. I was really excited to try it and since its battery operated. It required two AA batteries. So i immediately ran to the nearest 711 to try and check out how much the energizer lithium costs. It cost 299 and some cents so i said to myself i could buy rechargeable batteries at 300 bucks so i had to wait till morning. Man can you blame me? So the next morning to the mall and due to curiosity i checked how much the energizer lithium cost at ACE. To my surprise it cost 229 and some cents. can you believe that? I know due to the nature of 711s business the tend to raise their prices a bit but that's almost 70 bucks. I don't thinks that's still reasonable.

Just the other day i bought a party pack of ice at 711. It costs 35 pesos and according to its label its approximately 7 kilos. i highly doubt if that is even 5 kilos or more. But due to the urgency of the situation i had no choice. I raised the issue to the one on the cashier and all they hae to say is. "Ganun ba sir? Sige sabihin ko dun sa nagsusupply sa amin.". Hmmm. Here's another one. a 1.5 liter of Coke now costs 50 Pesos. A couple of days ago it was only 38. The only explanation i could see here is the branch is just clearig out its old stock. But 50 pesos for a 1.5 liter softdrinks. This may be the best reason to quit drinking such beverage. Not beacause this may cause diabetes or something.

I have nothing against 711. As a matter of fact I love having them around. Its just that the way i see it their prices are set beyond reason. I dont even know if the DTI are looking on how 711 sets their prices.

My Maundy Thursday

Woke up feeling gloomy today, Maybe its because of how i woke up. I jumped out of bed thinking if the pasta is already spoiled. Lynzie and I took out some pasta and burger at jollibee lastnight and i promised her to finish the rest of the spaghetti, and that's what i had for breakfast today. As always i was thinking of ways on how to improve the traffic on my site and if i should continue printing shirts. Ahh too many questions. Tried cleaning up a bit while watching whats on TV. Some re-runs on net25.
I promised Lynzie that I'll pick her up after her shift so i hurriedly did my chores and got ready thinking that i might have a hard time hitching a ride cause of the occasion. Fortunately Jeepneys and public vehicles are still on the road. Siguro Yung iba humahabol pa ng panggastos. Good thing I was just in time. Since there are no malls that are open today we decided to have lunch at Fast Bytes. Told her that most Fast foods are still open today.

We decided to try Mongolian Quick-Stop. This wasn't our first time here. If I could remember correctly it was the second but the first was to go. I noticed a sign that there's a smoking area on the 2nd floor. Well that's good. An Establishment that caters to both smokers and non-smokers. I ordered Beef Teriyaki. I played it safe. Hehehe I don't want to experiment this time since its Lynzie who's paying. To my surprise the place don't have an open area on the 2nd floor unlike the fast foods that surround the place. I immediately asked where is the smoking area? Lynzie said the entire 2nd floor is. Ahhh even better. Cause Smokers encounter the problem with fast foods and buffets that don't have a smoking area. How can we eat our hearts out if we cant even take a break from the chow. But with this one problem solved. I really cant see why smokers and non smokers cant share a single establishment. It has been done before why not do it now. Good thinking for the staff and management. Keeping in mind that majority of the market in Northgate are smokers.

Going back to the food hmm its good but just like Lynzie said it's not that fulfilling. Like ordering Chinese food comes with all the grease and stuff. By the way we were the only ones occupying the 2nd floor that time. We ordered a bottomless drink. We even asked the crew who served the food whats the bottomless and whats not but they didn't even bother coming up to check if customers need a refill. I mark them down for that. Customer service is poor. The restroom was yucky as per Lynzie so i didn't bother check.

After lunch we decided to check a stall in Alabang Public Market. The one that sells Pirated products like Dvds and Audio Cds. This was an act of desperation on our part. We don't have anywhere to go to and there's nothing to watch. Fortunately it was open but it was Pandemonium. We didn't dare squeezing are butts in there in this heat. I can only imagine how the exchange of bodily fluids between customers to customers take place in that very crumpy stall.

My realizations today. Man has got to eat right? So even though tradition dictates that we share in the seasons spirit , who can stop a business from opening? Good thing for us who got left behind here in the metro. Cause not everyone could afford a grand vacation out of town.

Pinoy's Way of Life during the Holy Week

Tomorrow is Maundy Thursday and most Filipinos have already gone to their respected Provinces to be with Families to celebrate the rest of the Holy week. While some take this time to go to beaches and resorts to enjoy the much needed vacation. Away from the stress of work. This is the Longest vacation in the entire year and unfortunately it coincides on the days when we should be mourning for the death of Jesus Christ. The Holy week brings us a lot of traditions and customs that will tell us that during these days we should be more reflective on our faith than reactive to our needs.

Growing up, me and my family only spend the Holy week in two ways. One We'll travel northward to bulacan to witness how many Filipinos do their acts of penance on the streets through carrying the cross like Christ did or through what we call it "hampas dugo" where penitents whip their back to bleed. Some crawl the streets under the blistering sun and lie flat on their bellies on every station where there is a "pabasa" and their companions hit them repeatedly on the ass using a used rubber slipper. And sometimes a combination of these three. The Second way is we stay at home and watch what ever it is thats on tv. When the energy is still high when night falls we do the Visita Iglesia. Visiting seven churches within the area. That's how the Coronels spend the Holy Week. God I miss those days. I miss the Halo halo my mom would prepare while we watch the ten commandments on TV.

Unlike us many families travel not to their hometowns but to the different summer hotspots for vacation. I was surprised to hear on the news that Bora is implementing a no party policy on good Friday and the church is appealing to the clubs owners not to open on the said day. With this i can say that time has really changed.

I was watching a program on channel 7 earlier. The topic was all about parenting and how to maintain the house if there are kids around. I cant recall but one of the hosts asked the guest doctor a question. The question goes. Should parents try to conceal breakable decorative items on the kitchen and dining area so as not to be the cause of accidents with kids. What a question! I said to myself. It's a matter of common sense. Offcourse we should keep those things away from kids. But to my surprise the doctor answered otherwise. In order to promote familiarity with these objects it's not advisable that parents hide them from children, Parents should keep their kids aware of the things around them. Hmmm. Shes not a Doctor for Nothing.

I guess the same is true with whats happening right now. What should we expect from kids whose parents decided to go to Bora or Puerto during the Holy Week rather than take them to at least 7 churches to do Visita Iglesia. Can we expect that their children's children will still know the practices like the "hampas dugo" or the stations of the cross? I highly doubt that. So what can we expect 10 or 20 years from now? My guess is that people will be most merriest during the Holy week than any other day of the year. Dont even bother asking why.

I mean can you blame them? The children has only this time to spend with thier parents. 4 days of vacation. Would they rather be at home or on the beach? But nevertheless just like what they say. The important thing here is that you know the essence of the season. Why there is no Work on Good Friday, Why malls open on Easter Sunday. Im pretty sure sooner or later children will learn this at school especially if their enrolled on a Catholic one but the important thing here is that parents take the lead and be a part of that learning as well.

Fast and Furious 4

The News of the new Installment gave me the chills and I anticipated the movie for weeks. When i finally got the chance to watch it i was not disappointed. Though a contact from a car club gave it a rate of 7 out of 10. According to him the movie lacked cars and action. unlike the first.
I was with Lynzie when I saw the movie. We both weren't Vin Diesel nor Paul Walker fans. We were just there for the movie. I remember running into MJ, A colleague back in HSBC , on our way to the theater. She was pregnant but due to the excitement and anticipation i didn't understand a single word she said. It's like seeing her open her mouth but there were no words. I can't believe that it really does happen. Good thing Lynzie was paying attention. Cause when i shared the news to Lala another colleague, I didnt know what to share. All she said to me was "men!" I don't blame her. hehehe

Well going back to the movie, Vin was a lot bulkier this time and Michelle, well what can i say? She's still Michelle. Paul was a lot better this time compared to the last two movies. Though the movie lacked the flashy cars like what they said it was not a disappointment when it comes to the action. It was story based and it was Good! Though Lynzie was pissed because they killed Michelle Rodriguez. Oops! There I just gave it away. Sorry for you guys who haven't caught the movie yet. Over all it's a good film. Definitely worth the money and the wait. Looking forward to the next one. Hopefully there's another one. Cause basing it from the movies ending there definitely will be.

Being a Tito and All

I was attending my best friends wedding when i received a call from my mother that my sister has already given birth to a baby boy. It felt different this time. Just like the first time I was told that Mitch was pregnant. It feels a lot different when you're on the receiving end. I was joking about it with Marga my youngest sister. It was never like when i was the one giving news about Kianna. Though it felt a lot better. For once we will have a new member in the family.

This is a First time for me. Though I'm excited I'm also nervous as hell. Just like my what i said on my Friendster shoutout, I'm really hoping to be a much better Tito to Gabo than i am a father to Kianna. Though experience wise I am one of Rance's Godfathers. But Race is my cousin. And looking back on how thing were between Rance and me hmmm. Nevermind. The worst memory i had was when i purposely shot rance with a n airsoft Pistol. I was young back then and i was pissed. Lets leave the details behind. But over all, aside from that incident I think I did good.

I received a text message earlier coming from Mitch. They've already booked a flight to Manila on the 7th of May. For the First time, I will be seeing her since she flew to Singapore last June. We communicated through text but you could barely count it cause of the terrible rate. We talked last Christmas but thats it. This time She'll be bringing with her the newest member of the family. Gabo. I can say that I'm excited. Guess this is how they felt when Kianna was born.
